Welcome to my blog. My name is Lynette Duquette and I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I’m not going to give you much background info on me because some of my posts will be about those things. The reason I started this blog is because it has been on my heart to do it for a long time, but I had my doubts and insecurities. But, as the title of my blog says, when God says move, you move. So I am moving into the blog world to share my journey with Christ with all of you.
I am currently separated from my husband, a mom, and love the Lord. I get the privilege of working with people with addictions and other issues that prvent them but being who God calls them to be.
You will find posts about what God is doing in my life, posts about things that frustrate me about the church and what I call ‘comfortable christianity’, and occasionally a rant seasoned with grace. I welcome comments but they will be moderated. I ask that if we have differing opinions you do not tell me how wrong I am but you can tell me you disagree, because NONE of us have it all correct this side of heaven. God bless you!

Yes He does. Do you mind if I ask how your church felt about your abuse situation? I am so glad you were able to get out of that situation. Praise God!
I don’t mind. The first church did not see a problem because we were both members and they were not spiritually discerning. I then went to a Spirit filled church where the pastor recognized what I was dealing with. Remember, we do not fight against flesh and blood… Ephesians 6:11-17
